Changes to printed programme
Wednesday, 1st February will now be Janet's Brock Valley walk.
The walks programme page has been updated.
Walk and Lunch
Walk and Lunch on Wednesday 8th February.
For those who wish to go by train, we are catching the 09.39 from Lancaster Station which arrives in Arnside at approx. 10am. If you wish to arrive by car, please be at Arnside station by 10am.
If the weather is favourable, the walk should go over Arnside Knott, so the climb (not fast) will be at the beginning of the morning. It is planned to have a coffee stop at the top. The return to The Albion for lunch at 12.30 will be along the shore. Please note that, not surprisingly, some of the paths are very muddy.
It is not essential to book beforehand, but it would be good to have an idea of the numbers to suggest to the landlord.
